About me

Music has countless faces – and my love of music applies to many of its diverse forms. But I am particularly often touched by handmade music, the unmistakable, warm sound of acoustic instruments. When I pick the strings of my guitar and the wood responds, I immerse myself in a world of its own. When I leave it again, I am always a different person. When my music is heard or I play for others, I want at least part of the magic of the music to be transferred to my listeners. If you open yourself up to the music, then something can happen. Maybe there is something that wasn't there before: just a little something, triggered by a melody that resonates; a sequence of chords, a single note perhaps, that twinkles like a star in the night sky. And this something may mean nothing and evaporate instantly – but perhaps it means more.
